Gyeonggi Dulegil includes the national forests (state-owned forest trails). The national forests are under the pursuant of Articles 2 and 9 namely the Forest Resources Act to manage the environment of the forest, in principle, public use is restricted.
Gyeonggi Dulegil is now opened to the public who has registered for an entry permit. This system is implemented through a memorandum of understanding with the Northern Regional Forest Service. This partnership will strive to generate public interest on the use of the forest trails, including the increasing awareness of forest conservation and sustainable hiking.
